Through my career I’ve had the pleasure of working with a number of organization in a range of roles.

BC Transit
BC Transit is the provincial Crown agency charged with coordinating the delivery of public transportation across British Columbia with the exception of those areas serviced by TransLink (Metro Vancouver). More than 1.8 million British Columbians in over 130 communities across the province have access to BC Transit local and regional transit services.
My roles at BC Transit allowed me to bring together my background in finance, project management and STEM. I furthered my knowledge in strategy, strategic planning, business writing and in leadership.
Some key accomplishments from my time:
~Developed and implemented technology project portfolio management.
~By fostering an inclusive, collaborative team culture, built a high performing IT PMO team from one to over 25.
~Project Director of their major re-implementation of JDE, from JDE 8.0 to JDE 9.2, redesigning the chart of accounts, expanding the asset management functionality, and retiring third party software and bringing the functionality into JDE.
~Improved corporate cash flow and debt management by developing improved capital program reporting.
~Business case development of capital projects and exploring new strategic business models.

iWIST
iWIST’s vision is to bring together women and allies in science, technology, engineering and math in west coast island communities. As a Board member, I was able to help advance the governance structure and position the organization for future growth.
Some key accomplishments from my time:
~Increased funding by successfully redesigned and implemented a new membership structure.
~Improved the Board governance by developing the terms of reference for the membership committee.
~Increased the membership value proposition by collaborating with the Chair of the Board, successfully developed a partnership agreement with SCWIST (Society for Canadian Women in Science and Technology).

Royal Victoria Yacht Club
The Royal Victoria Yacht Club was founded in June 1892 and is the oldest yacht club in western Canada. The club promotes yachting, boating, navigation, seamanship and offers racing events, cruising excursions, moorage, kayaks & stand up paddle board rentals, dining, and themed events. Board Member and chair of the Membership Committee and Membership Development Committee.
Some key accomplishments from my time:
~Increased funding by successfully collaborating with stakeholders and led the development of the redesign of the membership structure through to a successful vote at the Annual General Meeting.
~Improved the membership value proposition by collaborating with other committees and conducting a gap analysis on the clubs value proposition.

Debt Management, Provincial Treasury
The Debt Management Branch is part of B.C.’s Provincial Treasury, and provides centralized liability management services to the government and its Crown corporations and agencies. Its mandate is to manage the debt liabilities of the Province to be at the lowest long-run cost without taking on undue risk.
Some key accomplishments from my time:
~Managed and administered all financial transactions pertaining to domestic debt and the retail bond program for the provincial government and its crown corporations and agencies.

Habitat Acquisition Trust
HAT’s vision is to ensure that natural areas are protected and healthy on southern Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. Our mission is to conserve natural areas on southern Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands through protection, collaboration, stewardship and education.
Some key accomplishments from my time:
~Improved the membership value proposition by successfully redesigning and implementing a new membership structure.
~Improved decision making by redesigning the Office Report produced monthly by the office staff for improved information for Board of Directors.
~Successfully rejuvenated contact with HAT’s top 20 major donors by implementing the Mad Hatters Tea Party. Raised money by implementing the Green Tie Gala fundraiser event.
